How to Screenshot on a Samsung Galaxy s4

Maybe it’s the high score on a game you want to capture and brag it to your friends, or some particular configuration setting you might want to capture. You don’t need any 3rd party apps from Google play store to take a screenshot.

Here we will show you how to take screen on a Samsung Galaxy S4 device.

How to take a screenshot on a Samsung Galaxy s4

There are 2 ways to take screenshot on Samsung Galaxy S4 device.

1. You will see a white outline around the borders of your screen and the notification bar will read Saving Notification.

2. By Hand Swipe

For this feature you need to do two things

  • Ensure that you are not in lock screen as this feature doesn’t work in a lock screen.
  • Do ensure that Palm Motion and Capture Screen features are enabled in the smartphone.

To enable them you can do the following steps

Settings -> My Device -> Motions and gestures ->Palm Motion -> Capture Screen

Now you can take your screen by swiping your whole hand from left to right or right to left across the screen. Same as the gesture shown in the image below.

Your screenshot has been saved and you and check it from the Gallery App. From there you can share it anywhere you want.
